With our easy-to-use calendar functions you can schedule activities by day of the week and enter recurring schedules. You can also schedule one-time activities. Holidays established within the system will automatically be accounted for in your scheduling, attendance, and productivity reports. Once an activity is scheduled, attendance rosters may be viewed or printed. The calendar functions enable you to visually review your daily, weekly, and monthly calendars to avoid schedule conflicts.

Attendance

Entering attendance is simple and flexible: you can enter attendance by day, by week, by participant, by activity, or by group. It’s easy to clearly view attendance results as positive, negative, or attendance not taken. Attendance sheets can be printed for distribution to the staff member entering attendance.

Planning

Do you have a planning document for the upcoming school year or summer? If so, you can build your planning document into the CSS software and enter your information directly into the system, so that you can share and coordinate the planning for the upcoming period. Once approved, the planning document can populate activities directly into the system, saving your staff the hassle of having to do double entry.

Reporting

CSS has a very robust and flexible reporting module with the ability to access and generate reports on all the data elements within the system. The module accommodates both static reports and report writers. For static reports, which are specific to a data element, each report contains an option grid that allows customization for items such as date range, program, etc. Report writers allow you to select and sort the information you wish to report on from the data collected. All reports may be viewed on screen, printed, or exported to Excel, CSV, and PDF.

Custom data extraction: CSS provides technical program support that allows you to request statistical and raw data for special reporting or export—for instance, when evaluation firms working with afterschool programs request volumes of data that change from period to period. CSS is experienced in working with evaluation firms to provide specific data for export.

Outcomes

Direct entry and import of data from other sources can be combined with data in the system to improve outcome reporting.
